This is a somewhat accurate movie. You’d be better off with Sparknotes if you’re looking for a summary. Read the book! it’s really good!

The book was potrayed a very sad ending and had much much tragic, and the movie did an excellent job at displaying what was happening. I disliked the fact Catherine had to die, breaks my heart (T_T) and they lost thier child that same day, which made me cried, soooo much tragic, sooo much to take in.
@XCftmfw

@PauleQueenie — actually, this was one of Hemingway’s earlier novels. He shot himself when he was a much older man.
Incredible film. So many advertisments (every 10 mins), I stopped watching!
@TheKrannyMaster too bad it’s not…
@TheKrannyMaster It is a play on words. He left the war and its weapons, but also lost his woman, that is, her arms holding him.
@JubalCalif DER LOL
lol my friend thought that this book was about people’s arms getting blown off
what a dreadful ending and the ending in the sequellae is no better either. And then Hemingway shot himself after writing this sad story…makes sense really.
@JubalCalif LOL
A World War I love story? Hmm….I always thought “A Farewell to Arms” was a biography of the Venus De Milo !!!
