As far as Ron Gilbert goes, you’re giving him a little too much credit. Monkey Island, Indiana Jones and DeathSpank barely give him any credit as “one of the best”, considering the rest of the gaming market from the beginning of his career to the current days.
What’s happening here is a case of fanaticism really. You credit the man for his work, whereas I credit the man, not the work.
