@returnoftheCutlass86 Yeah sorry I am off in my Zelda history hehe. Last one I played was the 2006 Twilight princess. But now that I caught up the stories and stuff I found you are pretty much right.
@OnlyRemaining actually Twilight Princess was based off Ocarina of Time alot so this one is really a continuation of that, just Skyward Sword takes place before Ocarina of Time
@kroser1983 Yeah, The wii controller while good for a hour of gameplay, can’t beat a good gamecube controller. It just doesn’t work as well
@OnlyRemaining i agree, i still to this day would always prefer playing zelda with just the wii pad, the game is far to long to be waving ur arms about, that was what put me off the last one. twilight princess was actually better on the Gamecube for this reason.
@KittyKyomi i think that was to sprint. u run with the stick and hold down the button to run fast, last zelda never had a run button before, the reason why i used to always roll everywhere to get there quicker. ur safe bro i think it will be as u want it.
Im not sure if im a big fan of the ‘press A to run’ control, i hope they stick to using the nunchuck joy stick to move.
@VoltageTHD It’s obvious you don’t own ether console. I own a Wii too so don’t call me a fanboy. But there are AMAZING games on the 360 and PS3. For example The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, or Dead Island. Look up the trailers, and neither of them are first person shooters.
Good to see Nintendo is going back to it’s best game, Ocarina of Time. They are basing a lot of this off that amazing game But I can already tell if the entire game is controlled by the Wii remote, I can garentee you will get tired. I hope it can be compatible with some sort of controller.

@YeahCarlPrductions I was surprised too, but if you watch the full version of the trailer, and when it zooms in to the octorocks dying, you can see its tenticles. Its an octorock desguised as a dekuscrub. I was shocked too
@mrroto789 Well your right but Miyamoto is still a God no question there. but Ocarina of Time, Majora Mask and Wind Waker i ever played and think there the best Zelda. but i wonder what timeline of Zelda skyward sword be?

He says that it would be more comfortable not pointing the wiimote at the at the screen when using the slingshot and bow, but to be honest, it is much more comfortable in TP with pointing it at the screen. I hope that its changed before its released.
Miyamoto is a God! i dont care what yall say. X-Box and Playstation can only make frist person shooter games good. thats it. Nintendo can do all!
parts of the demo kinda failed, i hope they will fix the issues…. but i guess they are the same people who came up with every other zelda game so im sure theyll get it done

i dont get it why does the devs for the wii have the urge to make everything use the motion controls and make everything overly complicated (the guy in the video couldnt even hit the enimies and blamed it on “interference*. Secoundly they laughingly call the world *more beautiful* twilight princess looks literally 10 times better than this and metroid prime 3 100 times, it looks like a ps2 game oh wait every single wii game does (excluding zelda twilight princess and metroid prime 3)
