HUNGER GAMES: KATNISS & RUE

I am a big fan of the Hunger Games books and am excited for the film from Lionsgate. I feel that several actors I know are talented enough to be involved with the feature film, so we did this short as an audition for them. I know that Rue is described as being dark skinned in the book, but I wanted to show Savanna’s acting. I think she would make a good Prim though. The song at the beginning is Wretches and Kings by Linkin Park. The song at the end is Iridescent by Linkin Park. I didn’t put the sound of the cannon when Rue died because I cut out all background sounds and sound effects at that point and was just playing music only. @SuiteLifeFan12345 & simbaaddict Glimmer was dead at the time of this clip, and Clove did kill someone right before Rue dies, BUT he was the crippled District 10 boy, so I highly doubt that he’d be running that fast.
OMG!!!!! this is my favorite book ever and in moviess they always get sooo far away from the actual text and feelings but you guys were… WOW!!! i love it!! this was my favorite part of the book it because it was so touching! and you guys made it real and amazing!!!!!!!! i think the both of you should be in the actual movie!!

these people need to be in the movie because i have seen a lot of movies and this clip has the best actors i have ever seen

@simbaaddict i belive that was glimmer. Even though Glimmer is supposed to have blonde hair i think in this clip she has brown hair. and i agree this is the best Hunger Games vid EVER.
is that rue’s cannon that the clip ends with??
I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It seemed so real how te knives and spears looked like they really were in them………you got every line right THIS WAS THE MOST EPIC HUNGER GAMES VID I’VE SEEN but who was that in the beginning the one who stabbed the blond boy

I just finished the books like 2 days ago. the girl that played Rue matched the picture in my head when I was reading the books even though they said she was dark skin and dark hair I kept getting blondish hair and light skin. Great job I loved everything in this!
seriously, if this scene doesn’t look like this in the movie I will be severely disappointed.

@mizzamie1 That’s not entirely right. Katniss says that Rue reminds her of Prim because they are about the same age and maybe they have other similar charactaristics. But Rue is in fact darkskinned.
