HUNGER GAMES: KATNISS & RUE

I am a big fan of the Hunger Games books and am excited for the film from Lionsgate. I feel that several actors I know are talented enough to be involved with the feature film, so we did this short as an audition for them. I know that Rue is described as being dark skinned in the book, but I wanted to show Savanna’s acting. I think she would make a good Prim though. The song at the beginning is Wretches and Kings by Linkin Park. The song at the end is Iridescent by Linkin Park. I didn’t put the sound of the cannon when Rue died because I cut out all background sounds and sound effects at that point and was just playing music only. It`s impossible to say much but AMAZING!! I´ve watched it so many times and I cry every time!! There is a simple way of defining brilliant actors from the good ones and the intesity and total devotion that radiates from these two girls eyes are enough to convince anyone!! If you guys play Rue and Katniss the movie can´t be much but wonderful!! Good luck=)
the girl playing Katniss would be perfect for the role in the movie (same as Savannah for Rue). i cant wait until it comes out!

@ScreamTheRequiem well maybe katniss was forcing herself to run without hesitation cuz she just heard her name screamed from her ally who is possibly injured…
gosh i keep commenting on this video each time i press replay xD i just wanna say that how katniss sand rue’s lullaby’s here is perfect <3 it’s beautiful and tragic and the broken parts where she chokes on her tears is just how i imagined katniss singing. i mean, who would sing in a perfectly clear voice after they just saw their ally murdered?

i loved this i think Savannah should be Rue she did great! and that goes for Daniele too! i thought the movie would continue but then i remembered, its only a video! great job great job i loved it! though i didnt know the first part was going to be about glimmer! i thought glimmer was a girl but i guess not! You should do the trailer i dont think anyone has had the trailer right yet in my opion

I really hope that this is what the movie will be like. I really believe that the actress who played Katniss should be Katniss in the real movie!!!

i absolutely LOVE the katniss and the rue is okay but when i was reading this scene in the book I didn’t imagine rue crying, imagined her staying strong and fighting till the very end and refusing to give in <3
