  My problem with this movie isn’t ryan reynolds or the amount of the oa shown or even the lack of introduction for a lot of the other corps members but the fact that it seemed like hal just went from being a rookie to beating parallax with what seemed like 5 minutes of training. all they really showed was a little combat practice and him learning to fly, but how does that make him strong enough to beat parallax? if they had some more character development, it would be a decent movie.

  @ 2:30 it’s mentioned fans are upset about RR being a funny guy bc it’s not the Hal they’re used to. However, if they read early GL stuff when Hal 1st came on scene, he was young & flippant. He met Tomar on a planet that had blood eating grass, & Hal just sorta ran a big lawnmower over it (all cocky, no biggie)… next panel shows Hal lookin all embarassed & Tomar explaining that if you just cut the grass, it multiplies… Jordan was a brash rookie just like the trailers show RR playing it.

  spoiler alert;they make a fear ring that looks like the green lantern ring but stay after the credits because they are going to show another scene-the red faced,mustached,pointed ear guy puts it on and he turns evil so that means they are maybe making a second one maybe

  @ 5:06 to the far right is Green Man. Looks nothing like in the comics though.

  Is it possible that the villain isn’t Parallax, but maybe Legion instead? In the comics Abin Sur is killed by Legion, not Parallax, and they both use the yellow power spectrum….just a thought.

  @Zakama9 Thanks. Spoiler: Hal jordan will lead parallax away from earth toward oa after he pleads to the guardians to help earth. Also I believe an Krona (a oan supervillain) will appear in the film and I believe that is he is face seen on parallax.

  6:36 Is (Spoiler Warning) Hector Hammond having the life force suck out of him by parallax. And Also Hector Hammond is not possessed by Parallax but is mutated by a piece of parallax he got fro abin sur’s wound and would led parallax to his location causing his demise.

  When they show the Guardians Towers, if you look close enough, you can see some of the Guardians.
