This is the first sneak peak at Ken Loach’s latest feature film “Route Irish”. Straight out of Cannes Film Festival, it’s not available anywhere else.

The world’s biggest expert at making crappy movies on outdated subjects is at it again, infesting youtube.

@mrlordmilton Not to mention a weirdo with some kind of an injured horse fetish! What a freak, crawl back to your hovel, low-life!
@mrlordmilton A fine one to talk, coming from the man who spends is days insulting women who don’t sing well! Factory owner my arse, as much a Lord and factory owner as i am the king of France! Haha!
@BVargas78
How simple you are and how blatantly stupid it shows through your poverty struck exterior.
I pity your parents for the let down you are to them.
You are a modest illicit idiot, with much to be modest about.

@mrlordmilton lol, i’m not a Trotskite, i just think youre a fantasist or a liar!
@BVargas78 Have you been incarcerated as a simpleton for long Mr Gashead.
I have nothing to prove to a Trotski sod .
@mrlordmilton yeah sure you do, can you upload us a video of your factory to prove it then? and i’ll eat my words.
The first film i saw with something to do with irish and turns out…. oh look we do have phones, laptops and video chatting capabilities here
Really interesting how you made this look like an old film. 5/5
@Coolins335 A quick Google and it seems to be a storm in a teacup created by Loach. My understanding is that the film is about sexuality not the Palestinian occupation. I do boycott Israeli products when possible, but this is an interesting case, as the film apparently does not explore the Palestinian issue at all. I will certainly look into this case further, but thats work for another day.
@Coolins335 Thanks. I will be checking out both the short film and this particular story to see what all the fuss was about.
@fleontrotsky, I forgot to quote you in my response, but it’s on the page regardless
The Edinburgh International Film Festival invited an Israeli film-maker to show her short film Surrogate. The Israeli Embassy in London gave money to help pay for her trip to the UK. The Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign objected to her presence and threatened to picket the festival, recruiting Ken Loach who called for a boycott of the festival. The EIFF caves and returns the donation to the Israelis.
Paraphrased from an article that summarized the timeline
@Coolins335 explain please. what bullying tactics? I am genuinely interested.
I don’t know……….is Ken Loach ever wrong ?
Should we believe his every film take on society ?
I’ve never seen him on marches or speaking out , is this because he’s a wet liberal ?
Tell me he’s just a film maker who only fights with his mind for the best shots.
Me…..I’m a factory owner from Leeds employing over 70 people with no Union allowed through the gate.
