Yes, i was being a bit silly because i do want to see this movie. It looks better than the Burton version although i still enjoyed that one, still do, for b movie kicks
I like the direction this film is going in, showing you the events that led up to and the aftermath of the Ape rebellion. I admit it’s a bit fantastical but who knows maybe it will be grounded in some sort of reality
I still see the apes using social media to further their cause though, once they take over

That’s hilarious and so true. In every alien invasion movie we somehow find their weakness and come out triumphant in the end.
The most gut busting example was the one found in Independence Day. Didn’t they infect the aliens master computer in that one. Oh god, for an alien race so advanced i would think it would take more than computer code to take them down. I’m surprised any of that stuff ran on programs anymore anyway

@Hanniboom True, but the movie looks well enough made that it will address that.
@clownprince88 I get what your saying. These reboots are just straight out confusing and I think that they arent necessary. If you werent messing (just in case) around, this film is technically before all of the stories, tells the story how the apes came to be the way we see them in others. It sort has an essence of a telling of a classic story of famous character. Its sort of neat to think that one of these apes or chimps could be an ancestor to Cornelius or Zira or even Dr Zaius.

So according to Alien invasion movies, we get invaded by super advanced Aliens that can travel threw space and planets of million light years from each other and get our ass kicked by their surprise attacks the first half of the movie and yet we still kick their ass by the end but it seems we can’t face a few dozens of chimps with rocks and sticks.
Riiiiiight!
Besides how many monkeys, chimps, gorillas and staff are left on the planet? We probably outnumber them more than 1000 to 1.
